Online and Offline Operations
As long as open, Shops must be able to provide service and customers and sell. Once a centralized structure is set up with shops, the online system incidents mostly reflects in the physical shop. However, the capability of offline operations with LS Retail eliminates the online-borne problems such as disconnections with headquarters. In the system running over a dedicated line hosted in a Turkish server, shops continue to work, even in case of a disconnection, and once connection resumed, all operations are synchronized and updated. While economies of scale are ensured with central management, connection problems are no more a cause of customer dissatisfaction.
Central flexible promotion structure
Promotions are known as one of the most difficult-to-manage issues inside a shop. Launched by considering up to the finest details in timing, contents, effects on the shop, it is critical to apply accurately the promotions once decided. The promotions determined by headquarters over the prices also defined by headquarters are introduced into the system and then launched. However, what is more important is the ability of a shop management to launch promotions, too. Shops are now able to define the promotions and introduce them to the system. Such promotions are monitored by headquarters and its results can be investigated and all sales in the shops are subject to such promotional rules. While management of the promotions by system provides a great convenience to the sales representatives, it also minimizes the queues and boosts satisfaction. Combined item campaigns, so-called Mix&Match, discounts and the best deal, promotion price, variants and product category discounts etc. many promotions can be implemented by the system.
Central live reporting
For a business, reporting is very important to make accurate analyses. In retailing, generation of reports as per different perspectives gives many advantages for merchandisers and shop managers. Reports developed for FTG can be classified under three groups
1- Hierarchical Sales History: Date, shop, cashier, product line, tree-structure with product breakdown, quantity, amount and profit instant analyses,
2- Statistical Analyses: With Graphical and Excel reporting, the reports where shop, product and payments can be reviewed.
3- Standard Reports: Hourly sales, unpriced products, out of stock products, average basket size, product matrix sales and purchase details etc. reports commonly used by shops for retailing management.
Now it is possible to generate reports easily at these three levels.
Purchasing an order tracking
All product requirements of the Kazakhstan shops are managed from headquarters in Debenhams, UK. Purchasing orders are created pursuant to the requirements defined by headquarters and sent to FTG via an electronic file. This file is automatically accepted by the system and shipments made are matched with such orders to ensure control. Likewise, all sales and stock information is traced by headquarters and necessary changes can be made. Facilitating necessary coordination, this system offers an effective, easy-to-maintain solution.
